Scene + Heard Kicks off in just 3 weeks! Some really exciting stuff is being put on this year; it's your best chance to get in on the ground floor and see some fantastic new work! With that in mind, we're going to spotlight some of the cool stuff you can catch in week 1 of the festival. (It also helps that the Yank's involved with these shows. *cough*)
LOVE UNDERWATER - a comedy about humans and other monsters.
Welcome to your life! Something fishy is bubbling underneath, and it's hungry!
LOVE UNDERWATER is a dark, absurd, colourful celebration of the ridiculousness of all humans (that contains no actual fish and no actual water). #fairplayforwomen #hashtag #somethingsbubblingunderneathanditwantstoeatyou
It's written by Miriam Needham, and stars her and Katie O'Kelly. Directed by Romi Cruanas. Not a dude in sight! Aside from the Yank.
It's in the very first block of the festival, too! Alongside 3400 Women by Treasa Nealon, Love Underwater will be presented on the 14th and 15th of February at 6.15 pm in the Boys' School.
